Derrick Morgan is an angel and impact investor, entrepreneurial ecosystem builder and outside linebacker for the Tennessee Titans. He has an MBA from the University of Miami and attended Georgia Institute of Technology for his undergraduate. Morgan’s passion is building community development opportunities for under-served youth, and his goal is to help diversify the technology space and get more funding to minority founders. He helped to design an eight-week entrepreneurship program for high school students at Oasis Center in Nashville, and he works with Opportunity Hub in Atlanta, which offers access to capital, entrepreneurial training and mentoring to under-served founders. He’s also been involved with early exposure initiatives such as K-12 coding boot camps, pre-accelerators for students, entrepreneurial curriculum development and student field trips to technology events such as South by Southwest.
