Todd Olson is the CEO and a co-founder of Pendo, a data-driven platform that helps product managers deliver successful products. Recently, Todd raised over $20M in SeriesB funding led by Spark Capital with participation from existing investors Battery Ventures, Contour Venture Partners, Core Capital Partners, IDEA Fund Partners and Salesforce Ventures.
Prior to founding Pendo, Todd served as Vice President of Products at Rally Software Development. Todd led the evolution of Rally’s Agile ALM platform for enabling software and product-driven enterprises through its public offering. Todd joined Rally via the acquisition of 6th Sense which he founded and served as its President and Chief Technology Officer. A co-founder of 6th Sense Analytics, Inc., Todd served as its President and Chief Technology Officer.
In addition, Todd was Chief Scientist of the Together business unit of Borland Software. Prior to 2002, he served as Vice President of Product Development at TogetherSoft Corp., and was responsible for architecting and developing the Together® product line. Prior to joining TogetherSoft, Mr. Olson co-founded Cerebellum Software Inc. and served as its Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Olson invented and created the patent-pending Cerebellum data integration product. At Cerebellum Software, he oversaw the ongoing research and development of its Java™ technology-based products. Prior to Cerebellum Software, he worked at MBNA for six years as a Database Designer and Software Architect. He served as a Director of 6th Sense Analytics, Inc.
Mr. Olson frequently speaks at leading industry events on the topics of Java technology, Enterprise JavaBeans™ technology, and distributed computing. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Carnegie Mellon University in Electrical and Computer Engineering and is a graduate of its Entrepreneurial Management program.
